DUKE UNIVERSITY
Heres is a Duke University graduate with a degree in Biology and Health Policy with a focus on immigrant health and global health systems. Through research in orthopedics and health policy, he has explored both clinical innovation and systemic health disparities. His work spans from molecular immunology to policy advocacy, addressing health inequities in immigrant and underserved communities. He aims to bridge scientific research and policy to build equitable healthcare systems globally, especially in Latin America and the Caribbean.

UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH
Vineet Madduru is a first-year medical student at LECOM with a biology degree from the University of Pittsburgh, dedicated to advancing healthcare through research and patient-centered practice. His academic work includes cancer biomarker studies, with a focus on translating scientific discovery into improved patient outcomes. Clinically, he has served as an EMT, dermatology technician, and medical assistant, experiences that refined his diagnostic and procedural skills. As founder of the Open Doors Foundation, he partners with underserved communities to expand access to care and education, aiming to integrate research, clinical insight, and mentorship into lasting healthcare solutions.

Nam Thanh Nguyen is a rising senior at University of California, San Diego. As an undergraduate, he led interdisciplinary research projects leading to over 5 publications and 15 conference presentations, with an interest in public health and medicine. On the advocacy front, Nam is an United Nations Local Pathways Fellow and an augural member of the California Environmental Justice Advisory Council. Nam has a deep passion for global health research in relation to environmental health and infectious diseases.
